I really wanted this to work, but the app and camera keep losing connection. I’ve had to restart my phone or the camera way too many times, and even then it doesn’t always pair back up. It’s super frustrating when you just need it to work in the moment. dealing with this has made me feel like just another ticket number instead of a customer with a real problem. Disappointed.

I was feeling hopeful when it caught one hard brake, but then it missed another crash clip, which was kind of frustrating. Overall, the app feels just alright to me, not bad, but not something I’m super excited about either.

I tried pulling up my videos from the cloud and it either failed or just sat there loading forever. Super frustrating when you actually need the footage and can’t access it. Support wasn’t much help either, which made it even worse. On top of that, the terms seem to keep changing, so it feels like what I signed up for isn’t even what I’m getting anymore.

It works fine overall, but the battery doesn’t last as long as I was hoping. I feel like I’m plugging it in to charge more often than I should.

I had to reach out to support because there was an issue with my account after I’d already paid, and I got a bit nervous for a while. When you’ve handed over money and don’t hear back right away, it’s hard not to wonder if you’re going to get brushed off.

To be fair, they did help me in the end. The reply took longer than I would’ve liked, but the support person was polite and actually seemed to read what I wrote instead of sending a copy-paste answer. It took a couple messages to sort out, so not perfect, but still a good experience overall. I’d give them 4 stars.

The GPS is okay for the most part, but it randomly loses my location now and then. I end up having to reopen the app or mess around with it to get it back on track, which is more effort than I expected.

The clips come out super blurry, like blurry blurry, and I can’t read license plates at all. Disappointing.

The install took forever, and after all that, it still didn’t even work. whoever runs this needs to get it together because the whole process was way more frustrating than it should’ve been.

I’ve been using the Nexar app for a few months now, it’s been solid most of the time. It usually connects to my dash cam without making me mess around with it, and my trips save the way they’re supposed to, which is a huge relief when you just want things to work.

There have been a couple of annoying moments where the app loaded slowly or missed a clip, and yeah, that was frustrating. But it hasn’t happened enough to make me stop using it. Overall, I’d say it does what I need and gives me some peace of mind, even if it’s not totally perfect.

It feels like a fair price for what you get, and the subscription setup is easy enough... no real headaches there!! I just kinda wish the monthly plan gave you a little more value, you know??? Still, overall, I’d say it’s worth it!!
